Shannon Lim

Associate

Shannon is part of the firm’s dispute resolution practice. She has assisted in a variety of commercial and civil disputes. These include contractual and tortious claims as well as shareholder and employment disputes. She has also acted for the main and sub-contractors in arbitration and Security of Payment Act adjudication proceedings.

Shannon has a keen interest in data privacy and protection and seeks to provide timely and practical advice to her clients on issues surrounding this aspect of the law.

Experience

• Acted for a car dealership in respect of a third-party claim against a finance company for indemnity costs: Auto Lease (Pte) Ltd v San Hup Bee Motor LLP and others [2023] SGHC 141
• Acted for the main contractor in an arbitration pursuant to SIA Arbitration Rules involving invalid extensions of time, overpayment and defective works in a claim of up to S$22million.
• Acted against a defendant company and its sole director and shareholder for fraudulent misrepresentation involving an investment scheme.
• Acted for a major insurance company in its clawback claims against its ex-agents.
